RECEPTION ROLE
We are looking for a self-motivated Receptionist with the confidence and capability to ensure the smooth running of Reception.
You must be flexible, very well organised and a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level. You must have great attention to detail to ensure consistency of standards is essential. The role includes checking in our guests, taking reservations, checking rates and correspondence, room allocations, giving information on our functions and facilities, forthcoming events and special offers or promotions we may be hosting. Making sure checking out is a smooth, efficient and friendly process, and above all ensuring our Guest’s feel at home, indulged and that their stay with us is a truly memorable one.
To meet the challenge of this role you will need to possess:-
At least one year’s hotel reception experience
Proven second to none Customer Service Skills, including dealing with complaints.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
A friendly and professional telephone manner
The ability to vary your approach depending on the guest
Patience and tact
The ability to stay calm under pressure and multi-task
Good problem solving skills
A methodical approach to your work

My client is looking for an ambitious individual, hands on Manager with a passion for the Hotel Industry and customer service. Overseeing training programmes and getting involved in service. He/she will be responsible for the department and will report directly to the General Manager.
You will have a good all round experience and above all attention to detail. You will maintain high service standards and develop the operation as the business grows with the aim of achieving further recognition for service; you need to drive revenue and sales.
The right candidate needs to ensure all colleagues adhere to current Health and Safety procedures and legislation, and maintain accurate accounting and review of P & L accounts to ensure KPI`s are met.
To be considered as our Night Manager ideally you will have had a strong background and a minimum of 2+ years in a similar position with a 3 star Hotel. You will be responsible for staff development and training, and ensuring high levels of customer service, posses excellent communication skills enabling you to interact easily with guests. You will be checking in and out guests, deal and solve problems, manage a team of 4-5 staff. Knowledge of Protel System is an advantage, but not essential.

Position: Chalet-hotel – General Staff Required
DESCRIPTION
Our chalet-hotel staff will undertake varied tasks in the restaurant, kitchen or bar as required by the relevant supervisors. You must have flexible approach to work, have a professional attitude towards customer service and work to a high standard at all times. You will need to be quick to learn, present yourself well to clients and demonstrate professionalism and efficiency at all times. Staff must have excellent personal skills to build a good rapport with our clients.
Duties will be varied and will include:
• Preparing the restaurant for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and evening meals
• Clearing tables in the restaurant and bar ensuring the areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
• Taking table and bar orders
• Serving food and drinks in the restaurant, bar and on the terrace
• Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen and storage areas.
• Washing up including glasses, crockery, cutlery, pans.
• Keeping kitchen surfaces clean and tidy
• Ensuring that the floor areas, doorways and surfaces are kept clean and tidy to ensure a safe working area
• Assisting with unloading food deliveries
• Assisting in maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout all kitchen and storage areas
• Other duties as directed by the bar, kitchen or restaurant supervisors
You will ensure that your personal presentation is immaculate and behaviour professional whilst with the clients or representing the company. At times you will also be required to assist with other duties such as the accepting and organising of deliveries, snow clearing, assisting guests with their luggage and lifting. Throughout the season you will be expected to fully support all other team members at the Chalet Hotel.
