Location Sidcup KentSalary Â?23000 30000 Job Type Job purpose To carry out quotable work and projects To act as point of escalation for Service Desk issues To assist with internal It procedures and planning To assist with the design and documentation of customer procedures and standards To keep abreast of new technologies and maintain manufacturer accreditation (training will be provided where needed) To work with the Technology Strategy department in development testing and documenting of new technologies and client offerings Key-result areas The job holder will be responsible for assisting with day to day billable work and progressing internal procedures and systems Will implement long term solutions through problem analysis Responsible for Assist with documenting internal procedures Ensuring all work is undertaken within the outlined internal procedures Liaising with and acting as point of escalation on service desk issues Ensuring project and problem resolution undertaken is fully documented and or recorded in the company Intranet system Assist with designing and documenting new standards for customers Assisting with pre sales technical support when resource dictates Ensure highest levels of quality and customer service is delivered Assisting with 3rd line support to Itrm s clients when resource dictates Job contacts within Itrm The Job holder will have to liaise and work closely with all members of both the Consultancy Service Desk and Sales teams along with Managers and Directors within Itrm In addition the job holder is expected to develop technical relationships with Itrm s core equipment suppliers Technical Experience Experience as many of the following systems as possible would be beneficial o 3rd Level Desktop and Software Support o Hardware Support (server and desktop) o Windows 2000 Xp Vista 7 o Microsoft Office 2000 Xp 2003 2007 2010 o Windows 2000 2003 2008 Server Experience o Email Exchange Server (2000 2003 2007 2010) o Microsoft Small Business Server 2000 2003 2008 2011 o Windows infrastructure design and support o Remote Desktop Services Citrix experience o Vmware and Hyper-V Installation and Configuration o Network infrastructure design (including Firewall Switch Vlan and Vpn configuration) o Cisco Router Switch Firewall experience o Smartphone configuration and troubleshooting experience (Android iphone Blackberry Windows Mobile) Professional Experience 1. Excellent customer interaction skills and the ability to clearly demonstrate or explain technology in an appropriate manner 2. Experience of medium large corporate network infrastructure 3. At least 4 years experience working in a technical capacity using current technologies 4. At least 2 years experience in a technical consultant architect role 1. Demonstrated self starter with ability to plan and prioritise workload 2. Ability to work at assigned tasks without supervision 3. Committed to customer service and delivery of quality in work 4. Hard working and willing to share knowledge with the team 5. Excellent customer facing skills with smart appearance 6. Ability to work within given workflows and follow internal procedures
