We are looking to engage the services of a large number of Self Employed Owner Drivers throughout the UK for a new contract we have secured. The work will include both short and long distance deliveries and will be remunerated by way of a mileage or daily rate payment dependent upon the required work. All invoices will be settled on a monthly basis. The ideal applicant will own a less than 5 year old un-liveried vehicle preferably White and of any size upto 3.5 tonne. Goods in Transit Insurance minimum Â?10000. Public Liability Insurance min Â?1000000. Full Courier Insurance. Crb Certificate. Preferably but not essential an Adr Certificate and Full Adr safety equipment. Full Driving Licence with no more than 6 points. Sat Nav. Mobile Phone preferably on contract. Bank Account. High Viz Jacket or Waistcoat Hard Hat Protective Footwear and Safety Glasses. Further to this the applicant will be of an acceptably smart and clean appearance and be able to adapt to both residential and commercial working environments. A good timekeeping record is imperative as is the ability to follow instructions and to work under the pressures the industry creates.
